A Night to Remember

3 Party Bus Planning Mistakes To Avoid

Renting a party bus and going out on the town can be a great way to spend a summer evening. If you and your friends have decided that a party bus is in your future, make sure that you avoid the following three common party bus planning mistakes that can limit the amount of fun you'll have on your special night out.

Mistake #1: Waiting to Book a Party Bus

If you want to go out on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night in the summer, don't wait until the day before to book a party bus. If you want to go out on a weekend night in the summer when the weather is great, you are going to want to call at least a week in advance, if not more, to book a party bus. Don't assume that you can book a party bus at the last minute. You may have more luck getting a party bus on short notice for a Monday night, but if you know you and your friends want to have a fun party, its best to book the bus as soon as possible.

Mistake #2: Waiting to Collect Money

Party buses are often team efforts when it comes to renting one to go out with your friends. If you and your friends are planning on splitting the cost of a party bus, collect the fund upfront when you make your reservation.

There are lots of apps, such as Venmo and PayPal that make it easy for your friends to virtually pay you with their debit or credit card, so no cash even has to change hands. You don't want to be standing there on the day of the rental, left paying more than your fair share become someone didn't show up or pay-up for the party bus rental. Always have the money collected before the fun begins, and remind your friends to chip in for a tip for the driver as well.

Mistake #3: Not Planning Where You Want to Go

Before you get to the party bus, consult with your friends and make a list of the bars that you want to go to. Then, call the bars up and see if they accept party buses. Some bars, for whatever reason, don't allow individuals from party buses into their bars. Other bars like and even cater to party buses, so make sure that your party bus will be able to go to all the bars that you want to go to. You don't want to waste your time getting turned down; got to the bars that will appreciate your business.
